CASE PROFILE - Buerger’s Disease Upper Extremities
Pathogenesis - six months progressive development of pain, inflammation and ulcers of both right and left middle fingers. Other digits moderately involved. Unable to use upper extremities normally. Hypersensitive to touch.
Treatment Prior to Initiation of Low Intensity Laser Therapy:
• multiple therapies including dressings, antibiotics, twenty Percocet per day, etc
• patient had consulted six specialists without any relief offered
Course of Therapy:
Laser Therapy applied to hands and cervical area daily.
